Calling our 1970s or 1980s alumni! Do you remember Poet Laureate Ted Hughes visiting the University of Hull?

Dr Anna Stevenson will be delivering a presentation at the Philip Larkin Society’s Conference that looks at Ted Hughes’s visits to campus. Ted spoke at Middleton Hall in May of 1975, and on the 25^th of October 1979. If you attended either of these events, could you share your recollections? Anna is particularly interested to hear from you if you recall what these events were for, and what was discussed.

Additionally, alumni have previously recalled speaking to Ted in the Library, and whilst walking through campus. Do you have similar memories?
