We are delighted to announce the second meeting of the University of Hull Alumni Entrepreneur Network, and are looking forward to the chance to getting to know our alumni entrepreneurs a bit better, offering you the chance to connect with one another, offering practical tips and suggestions to help people in their life and career journeys, and looking at ways we can support one another and our next crop of student entrepreneurs in a challenging time.
In this second meeting we will be looking at the challenge of finding purpose and motivation, something we felt would be very appropriate in a challenging time when this can be quite difficult. We’ll be joined by alumna Celia Clark (Mathematics, 1993), an Oxford based coach and facilitator who runs http://www.inspirescoaching.co.uk. Celia will lead a session exploring ways to find your purpose and stay focused on it when things around us seem to be working against that. Take the opportunity to step back and reflect on things from mindset and motivation to goal setting and good habits.
After the session with Celia, there will be an opportunity to go into breakout rooms for smaller groups to network, and to discuss challenges, questions or issues that people may wish to put forward and seek advice on.
So, if you need a bit of motivation, practical tips on setting and achieving objectives, and good habits for success, then come along and take part in the session. And if you are seeking advice for your business, or are in a position to offer advice to others, then please do come along and “meet the entrepreneurs”.
