Join the Chapel Choir for an evening of music, talks and refreshments as we launch the Chapel Choir Scholarship.
Inspired by the choir’s two live BBC Radio 3 broadcasts from the City of Culture 2017, the evening’s programme will feature music by Anton Bruckner, John Joubert, John Tavener and Sergei Rachmaninov.
There will also be talks from key members of staff, including Dr Simon Desbruslais, Lecturer in Music, and Performance Coordinator and Musical Director for the Chapel Choir. Dr Desbruslais will introduce the choir, the music and talk to guests about the launch of the fundraising campaign which aims to provide financial support to fund choral scholarships.
Refreshments will be served, and there will be opportunities for guests to network with performers.
