The University of Hull Alumni held their fourth reunion in Bahrain. The half-day gathering started with a boat trip from Bahrain National Museum to Muharraq where the Alumni visited the historical Bu Maher Fort. During the trip, they enjoyed the skyline of Bahrain, the gentle breeze, and, most importantly the cold mist of the sea. Then, the Alumni had a chance to see the remains of the Fort, climb on its Tower, and visit the information center that has a replica of the UNESCO World Heritage Site – the Pearling Path.
After this tour, the Alumni returned to the main building of Bahrain National Museum, where they had authentic Bahraini cuisine for their breakfast and conversed about various topics of interest. Commenting on this reunion Mohamed Isa said:
“We’re so happy to host our Alumni in Bahrain for the second time since we started our exclusive WhatsApp Group. This time around, we had such a diverse group representing the UK, India, and several Middle Eastern Countries. As professionals we should strive to expand relationships to progress our careers or grow our business. I was delighted to see the Alumni stay beyond the time we allocated for the reunion. It is a clear sign that they are hungry for more success.”
The next Alumni reunion will be held in Oman in February 2020. And the hosts are preparing an unforgettable experience for those who will attend. Stay tuned for further updates.
