It’s been an extraordinary year for the University and for the alumni community.
We are very pleased to share with you our rather excellent University Annual Report ‘This Is Our Time’, which introduces some of our talented students, crunches some amazing numbers, (did you know your alma mater generated £1bn for the UK economy?) and tells you all you need to know about where we are as a University. Click here to read the University Annual Report in full.
We’re also privy to some pleasant updates about this blog: the concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 9,800 times in 92 countries between October – December 2015. That means if the blog were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 4 sold-out performances for that many people to see it. Click here to see this blog’s annual statistics
Over 80,000 copies of our rather wonderful Venn magazine have been distributed by post to alumni all around the world. Read the online version of Venn magazine here.
If you have not yet received your copy, just email with a request to alumni@hull.ac.uk and be sure that your contact details are up to date by registering at Hull online.
For Business School alumni, an excellent new social platform is available. You register with a single click via your LinkedIn account and join over 1300 fellow HUBS alumni in networking, making business links, opening doors ot new opportunities and mentoring students. Visit hubsconnects.me.
We look forward to a fabulous year of University and alumni success stories. If you are an alumna/us who would like to share your campus memories or how Hull helped, we would love to hear from you. We aim to publish stories of around 1000 words with photographs, to be sent to the Head of Alumni Relations, Christopher Cagney, at c.cagney@hull.ac.uk.
Best wishes for 2016!
