Hong Kong Alumni Event – ‘The End of Global Free Trade?’

The University of Hull leadership team will be visiting Hong Kong, and alumni and friends of the University in the area are invited to join them at The Harbourview on Thursday 12 April for an evening of networking over wine and canapés. We will also hear from one of the brightest academic talents at the University of Hull, Professor Christopher H. Bovis who will be talking to us about regulation and the new trading order.

The University of Hull leadership team will be visiting Hong Kong, and alumni in the area are invited to join them at The Harbourview on Thursday 12 April for an evening of networking over wine and canapés.

Learn about the latest developments on campus from the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Glenn Burgess, and the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Law and Politics, Professor Kathryn Haynes.

There will be a video presentation from the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Susan Lea, followed by a talk from Christopher H. Bovis, Professor of International and European Business at the University of Hull.

An international leading authority in public-private partnerships, Professor Bovis has acted as an adviser to governments and international institutions worldwide, acting on behalf of public sector and industry on numerous high-profile projects and helping to structure flagship public-private partnerships. He will be sharing his insights with us on the challenges facing business and society in a rapidly changing world.
