Would you like to be able to bounce back faster from setbacks? Do you find yourself lying awake at 3am going over and over everything you’ve got to get done? Is there stuff you put off because you might get it wrong or you’re worried what others think?
Your mind is capable of amazing things but it can also work against you, sabotaging your potential for both performance and happiness. Mental fitness uses research-based tools to strengthen the part of your brain that serves you and quieten the part that doesn’t. The result? You handle life’s challenges with a more positive mindset and less stress.
In this session – open to all – Oxford based coach, Celia Clark (Mathematics, 1993), will introduce you to mental fitness, the 10 saboteurs that hijack us and the ‘exercises’ you can do to strengthen your ability to combat them.
We are delighted that Celia is offering this workshop as part of our ‘Bouncing Back’ themed series of events and stories in 2022. This year we want to think about how we overcome adversity, respond to challenges and handle self-doubt, imposter syndrome and those other demons that stop us from being our best selves. Celia’s session is going to be a great way to start tackling these ideas.
About Celia
Celia is on a mission to see women happy and successful in their work. She provides ideas, inspiration and coaching to people who are stuck with situations like work overload, imposter syndrome and career moves. Why? Because she believes fulfilled and financially secure women strengthen families, communities and wider society. Much of this work involves helping clients identify and overcome the things holding them back, which is where the techniques and practice of mental fitness are so useful.
